Mortal Shell II Fast Travel and Beacon Guide
Fast travel is organized around Beacons. Activate Beacons as you explore, reveal each regional map through its crow icon, and use manual completion markers so travel does not turn into repeated dungeon runs.
Activate every Beacon you reach
Beacons serve as checkpoints and travel points. Some can also be cleansed through a dungeon challenge; others exist only to support rest and travel. If a Beacon offers a cleansing interaction, complete it when your current build can handle the attached content.
The official Open Beta achievement list includes cleansing all available Beacons, so ignoring them can also block that beta objective.
Find crow icons before planning a route
A region remains difficult to read until you reach its crow map icon. Prioritize the crow in greyed-out territory, then use the revealed roads and landmarks to choose the next Beacon or dungeon.
The map supports manual markers. Use them for unopened chests, undefeated challenges, or routes you intentionally postpone.
Mark cleared dungeons yourself
Dungeon icons are not automatically recorded as complete. After looting and clearing a dungeon, select its icon and apply the completion marker. This prevents a later fast-travel session from sending you back into content you already finished.
Use Marrow Keep as an early planning hub
Marrow Keep connects early progression, services, and directions toward equipment. Return when you need to spend resources or choose a new objective rather than roaming with no upgrade plan.
